Meadow Pipit
Today my journey continued by another transport mode, a CalMac ferry, to the island of Coll in the Inner Hebrides.
Unfortunately the weather was grey and drizzly for much of the day, but I did go on a long walk and saw quite a bit of birdlife. Along the roads were numerous Stonechats, Wheateaters and Meadow Pipits. I also saw male and female Hen Harriers, but not to photograph. The island is renowned for its Corncrakes, but they have yet to make an appearance.
