Rotunda ceiling

Accompanied son #1 to an open day at Birmingham University. A really interesting experience which I was pleased my young man was willing to share with me. He was very impressed with the department and campus, as was I. A great start!
My brain is now completely fuddled with talk of metamaterials and invisibility cloaks. Felt like I'd been teleported to another dimension as I couldn't understand what people were talking about. Physics is a very challenging subject and I'm so impressed that my son is even considering studying it at degree level.
