Aftermath

The water you can see in this picture is actually the park. This is the aftermath of storm Gerrit. The flooding in this town actually made it onto the national news. We passed here on our way to the west to visit my mother. She continues to go downhill but she was pleased to see us and enjoyed seeing pictures of our niece’s new baby. It’s our niece’s birthday today too. Happy birthday M!
We drove through more rain and wind on the way home.
