Rightful use

We took advantage of the fine weather this morning to head round to the shops for a bit of a food shop. Thankfully, we timed it right and avoided the heavy rain that landed before lunch. Mince pies transported from the west were part of today’s lunch and the mince pies plate was put to its rightful use for a change. This afternoon, I decided to go and collect a couple of new lamps for the lounge. Annoyingly, two trips had to be made with one lamp faulty. They changed it without any quibbling but I suspect from the packaging that the first one had already been returned by someone else. I am pleased with the end result so it was sort of worth the two trips.
