Transition

A day pottering around at home and enjoying the last of Alexander’s company before he returned to Edinburgh. Merlin wasn’t keen on walks today because of the rain and wind. After we dropped Alexander at the train station we had a walk at Emsworth. It blew away any Christmas lethargy and left us ready for dinner. The house feels quiet now.

Grateful today:
- For time relaxing together at home.
- For Andy mending my waterproof trousers which are very old but good for dog walking and allotment work.
- For warm apple sponge for pudding.
