Cirrus SR22
A nice little Cirrus SR22 on its way to Cambridge from North Weald this morning. I have photographed these a couple of times before, they're the planes with the parachutes which deploy in the event of engine failure. Our son was telling us of an engine failure that his aircraft suffered recently when he was teaching a student to fly. Luckily it was a twin-engined plane. Full emergency procedures were carried out on the ground as he prepared to land.
I've added a muntjac buck that we spotted in Butterfly Alley to extras.
