Adorned with Wellington Boots we managed to make it to Staythorpe Power Station, which is Trent-side. Enzo was carried across some of the deeper pools with quite fast flowing currents.

Eco Power
Planning permission for a battery storage facility nearby recently failed planning permission. I suspect a confidential planning meeting happening in January is for a large swathe of solar panels further inland. Makes sense given the good national grid connections we have locally - so confidential, the item/s to be discussed is not named.  

Wellbeing
Took 5 minutes to have my hips x-rayed today. Decided to get my right hip sorted as standing still is increasing painful after a few minutes. I had my left hip re-surfaced (Birmingham Hip procedure) 20 years ago - so guess they checked it out too.
