Old Needles, New Yarn
My SIL recently gave me a roll of old needles that belonged to my mother. Mom was an amazing knitter. Me, not so much but I did make a couple of scarves for Christmas presents. I just bought some new yarn from the Bad Sheep Yarn Company that I could not resist. It is called Wild Blueberry, a beautiful color blend. The company was begun by a woman in, wait for it, North Pole, Alaska! My arthritic fingers do have a bit of trouble with the needles, but I think I have another scarf in me. I just love this color blend. I also got a big box of needle felting wool for Christmas so I think I will get back to that this winter as well. Stay tuned! Gift#359: resurrecting old skills.
