Doing the jokey bokeh

I was quite stuck for a blip today, but in the nick of time, silliness came to my rescue.  This is my Christmas tree, with a playful modification to my camera lens and having some fun with DIY bokeh.

I had a lazy morning reading about people braver than I, taking months (or even years) off work and having amazing adventures cycling grand tours around the world, and then having a wee look at Elspeth Beard's story of motorcycling around the world.  Perhaps one day I shall fire up ye olde enduro motorbike and have a go.  It was nice to have Mum and Dad visit for the afternoon, so I lit the woodburner and everything became warm and cosy.
