Teston Bridge
Despite a poor forecast, we headed out towards Maidstone and Teston Bridge Country Park along side the River Medway. It turned out to be rather cloudy and feeling a bit on the cold side due to a gusty wind; we were on the edge of Storm Gerrit. However the rain held off until we got home, and we even managed a welcome cup of coffee while sitting at an outdoor table in a fairly sheltered area.
Once Jak, my sister and BiL's mad spaniel, had worked off some of his energy, getting thoroughly damp and muddy along the way, we took a leisurely stroll along the river to the lock and back. This is the view back towards the bridge using some of the surrounding trees and vegetation to frame the arches.
Thanks to everyone who commented, starred and favourited my 3000th blip yesterday - much appreciated!
