Ben slept ok enough last night and remarkably, Leo was good too. Today has been trying to keep Ben entertained as he wants to touch/have everything in the house that is new to him or isn’t his, so he needs to be entertained every second. It’s hard for him to be out of his regular space but we’ve done pretty well. I took him for a short walk this morning and Mr KCNQ2Haiku took him on a long walk this afternoon and he’s been collaring family members to show them his walking poles that he had for Christmas, which has turned into his new slightly odd ‘specialist interest’ :-/
Now we’re just hoping for another decent night before we get home and then up to the north Pennines tomorrow. Busy but good, we’re definitely ready for the hills and quiet. Leo especially! He is so interested in the house full of people (and dog) that he has barely sat down all day. He loves the attention and is very good natured but I think he’ll sleep for a week when we’re back home!
