Wet Felting

A lot of you will remember how much I enjoyed making the pots and the Robin with dry needle felting fairly recently from previous blips.

When I showed the Robin pictures to a friend from church she said she had a felting set she was given but it didn't appeal to her.  She gave it to me on Christmas Eve :)

Coincidentally my parents have given me this wonderful book about Wet Felting, which explains all the equipment you need, and this lovely kit has all the equipment I need for more than one article :)

Looking forward to having some fun when I don't have to look for work....

In other news, as I said yesterday I've been job hunting today.  I applied for one role I liiked the look of, but it's not in a location I particularly  want to work in.  

However, I later on I was called and I'm driving to Slough (into London) but before Heathrow, tomorrow  for an informal interview...

Praying my car and I will survive on the motorway...I absolutely hate smart motorways and am so nervous about breaking down on motorways now it's untrue.  The other way would take longer and means driving through Windsor!!!

This afternoon to add to everything else, we had a power cut here!!  Funny that it only seemed to be my road, because houses behind still had power and lights on.
