Gerrit Out of Here!

Storm Gerrit has been the pivot around which today has spun... 

We managed to do a nice if very windy little 6km walk around the village and got back just in time for something which felt like the house was being fire-hosed. 

Charlie left us to go up to Cumbria with Rory's fam, and we can only hope they got there in one piece. 

As the day drew towards evening (which currently comes around four o'clock!) Janet pointed me at the sunset through the rain speckled patio doors. 

Still enjoying turkey...
