Found under the Christmas tree!

I’ve just started on a 2 volume, 500 pages set of books about Lanarkshire public road transport history, 1906 - 2023. Not easy reading but crammed with remarkable new knowledge.  In the search for snippets of information for my West Coast book  there's a possibility that maybe one or two Lanarkshire buses ended in Argyllshire.  I know I'll find details of one O'Hara's bus that was parked outside of my home in Spennymoor in 1960.  You may wonder why I remember it, well it carried a Lanarkshire registration plate, and being in the series VD XXXX and be being a young schoolboy I had a giggle and snigger at it.  (this was before internet!)
