The End of an Era

Today it was wet and windy so I stayed at home. Yesterday, however, I walked up the road to view the recent landslide (from a safe distance!). The bench is still there but the sloping grassy area that was in front of it has dropped some 60 feet. The Smugglers Haven Cafe is just about standing. I have spent many happy hours there over the years, eating and drinking looking at the fantastic view of the sea. Two houses next door have been evacuated for good. It is very sad for them.
