Boxing Day

We had a lovely day today. Our neighbour came over for dinner.

There was a slight panic when I realised that the main part of the dinner I had pjanned was still in the freezer and couldn't be cooked from frozen.... but I took a deep breath and made a lentil, butternut squash and red pepper curry to go with the roasted veg and red cabbage. Sounds weird but it was a huge success and we had clear plates from everybody!

Then our other neighbours came over to play games. We had a good laugh and agreed to do it again very soon.

Now I'm just relaxing, watching repair shop and wishing I wasn't posting an emergency blip because I'm completely out of the routine of blipping.
