At least it is iced

Spot the deliberate mistake. 

The plan was for a smooth white covering with elegant holly leaves carefully arranged on the top . . . green holly leaves! 

Problem - I knew I had bought a small pack of green icing but I could not find it. Looked everywhere, couldn’t find it. I long ago threw out all my ancient food colouring from when I used to make birthday cakes. So . . . print snowflakes, unearth all the old figures, then add tiny white holly leaves. That’s okay.

Now we’ve found the green icing . . . 

Too late - we have snow-covered holly leaves! 

A lovely sunny day today - car park is full to overflowing, walkers are going past the window all the time. High Cup Nick will be like Piccadilly Circus. But good to see people making the most of such a lovely day.
