That’s it for another year

It was a most enjoyable, relaxing day. We had friends J and J round for cocktails in the late morning and J brought some of her delicious cheese straws which accompanied the drinks very well. I decided to try taking both dogs for a walk in the afternoon and they behaved very well, although Lucy was happy to turn for home once it started to rain again. Dinner was on the table by 4.00pm and we both really enjoyed roast turkey crown with all the trimmings. After a bit of a break we found that there was a bit of space for a small portion of sherry trifle. Then what else could we do but put our feet up and enjoy a bit of telly.
