Our first born with hers!

I like this photo capturing the spirit and fun of today. It was lovely to have the house full again. I enjoyed cooking our late lunch. We even managed a walk after dark. Still incredibly mild.

Despite all the fun and indulgence of the season I find it difficult to forget the broken world around us and the seemingly headlong descent into wars.

Peace on Earth? We can only hope.
