What a day

Very relaxing morning preparing for family to arrive, late as usual. Then active for the next seven hours, seemed none stop.
Brilliant day and so enjoyed having the little one here.
The house was such a mess, seemed we managed to totally wreck every room. They left just over an hour ago and all is now tidy and I have poured a glass of red and going to watch some tv, if I don’t fall asleep.
Spoke to both brothers, short calls but always good to talk on Christmas Day.
Grandson managed to cover the sitting room floor in magazines and remove all the Christmas cards that he could reach, only those on high shelves were safe. He seemed to enjoy looking at the cards.
