Young blackbird

A really warm night and grey, warm and wet during the day but sun came out for a while late afternoon.
C. at home so we went out for coffee, to the shops, round to visit both sets of parents and then I did some gardening. A friend phoned me to say that one of my photos has been printed in the local paper,exciting!
Took a lot of shots with water droplets earlier but then was out in the garden and managed to get this young blackbird sitting on my neighbours fence. The bush behind is where the nest was and it has been interesting watching them develop. Have put a couple of shots on blipfolio.
Have just seen the news about the lollipop lady and children that got hit by a car in Wales, my thoughts are with them.
