Merry Christmas!

Hope you've had / are having a wonderful day. I only finished knitting the Extra early this morning, though little Miss B arrived dressed as Princess Elsa, when the local family came round for Christmas lunch and for the afternoon. As predicted, the knitted shoes didn't stay on the young master's feet for more than seconds (but they did fit!) Still, I had the joy of knitting them, which keeps me out of mischief.

Spoke to our son on a video call in the morning, which was nice. Had some lovely presents, at least one of which will feature in a blip in the near future. It's very special indeed.

Highlight of the day was watching both grandchildren crawling in procession round and round the 'island' in our kitchen. Both were giggling. It's lovely that the little boy has reached an age where the two of them can interact. 

Now, it's just a matter of staying awake till bedtime. We might start a game of Upwords ... even if we finish it another day! Or we might just discuss the option... Zzzzzz...
