The Tree

Bishop Paul led the 10am service today to a packed nave. Fabulous virtuoso organ and vocals mingled in with the carols.

The Cannon Missioner (pictured yesterday) opened his short sermon with 4 "cracker" jokes, then talked about the link of mince pies to christianity - perfect for the occasion.


Cathedral tree was supplied by a friend of mine - I discovered chatting to him with the tree in sight. Great to bump into him after quite a while.

Family A very relaxed day and possibly our best ever Xmas meal courtesy of head chef Mrs M.
