Kuala Lumpur International Airport

Yup! Still in Asia! LOL (A back-blip though)

Left Manila at 3pm yesterday (Manila time, of course), with 4 hours flight to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for stopover until our next flight to Heathrow. The flight was quite delayed, but I wasn't worried because we knew we've left ample time in-between flights for cases such as these. Anyway, we thought our connecting flight would be at 10pm, only to find out, it was 10 am the next day!!! So we slept stayed at the airport for about 13 hours.. Looked for somewhere a bit comfortable to dump ourselves on.. Good thing (anything is good compared to this, haha!) they had a movie lounge where they have put sofas in, so airport or no airport, embarrassment and shame forgotten, I took my socks off and spread myself on the settee as if it was my living room.. Still only managed a few winks, but hey, at least my back wasn't hurting.

Kuala Lumpur airport was great though! Duty free shops everywhere, what's not to like! Haha! Their design was fantastic as well! The structure in the middle with the greenery is actually a natural rainforest in the middle of the terminal. Was hoping to get a good sunrise reflected of these glasses, but unfortunately, as my luck would have it, it was cloudy! Oh well, at least I got symmetry!

Next flight was 12 hours from Kuala Lumpur to Heathrow, another butt-burner, or shall I say, butt-flattener! Haha! Mr M then drove 3 hours from London Heathrow to home while I was in and out of never-neverland! I was just glad we didn't have any accident cause of lack of sleep!
