Merry Christmas

Tonight we did something different for our Christmas family celebration…..Anne and Eric had us all over to Anne’s parents’ house on the east side of Lake Washington.   Her Mom died last year and her Dad is in a retirement home now but there are the two horses in the barn to take care of.   Anne’s dream…( like her moms) to live in horse country with the barn out the door.   So meet Vinny,  the horse Anne rides now.  There is a rescue pony ,Billy, for company, ( in the extra).  .   Not sure what’s going to happen.  Eric and Oskar are living in their house near Oskars school.  Not so ideal.   But they were so nice to have the dinner there to spare me….…Anne works full time and is still on maintenance chemo, and takes care of Vinny and Billy.   Big yard for the two dogs to run around in. After  Eric had to build a big fence . We 10 had a lovely dinner and white elephant gifts plus a few wee books I’ve made and of course another carefully chosen book selection from our living room shelves for everyone.   :-) I’ll probably do a  collage tomorrow but I’m too tired tonight.  Tomorrow we get to relax.  And not go anywhere in the car.
