Gold Coast Community Christmas Lunch

To day is Christmas Day. I signed up as volunteer for the Gold Coast Community Christmas Lunch. I helped out setting the tables with Christmas decorations and fresh flowers. Then I helped out in the kitchen to serve lunch. 

The event serves free Christmas lunch to approx 1,000 guests. The purpose is to make sure no one on the Gold Coast spends Christmas Day alone or goes without a visit from Santa! Those who come not only enjoy a hearty Christmas Lunch, but also get to enjoy the company of others, leaving well fed, presents in hand with a smile on their face.
