At the Princess Royal Hospital

...Haywards Heath.

We met with Richards surgeon, Mr. Norris this morning - who was amazed and personally delighted to see Richards progress. Mr. Norris, who I call the miracle man, is a "fellow" surgeon and one very talented man.

After our meeting; where we once again both heard the severe injuries Richard sustained three months ago - Mr. Norris wanted us to see his staff, doctors and nurses in both the general and ICU wards. Very surprised to be allowed into ICU which is generally 'closed doors' to non patients.

The reaction from everyone we saw was overwhelming - almost tear jerking - as I knew them all, Richard not even remembering many of them.

Heading back to the south coast tomorrow and looking forward to spending quality time with Richard's daughter, son in law and baby Noola.
