Christmas Surprise

We have had a wonderful Christmas Day, starting with breakfast, Museli, berries, cream, pikelets, and croissants, with ham and cheese.  All very yummy.  We opened our gifts, this photo is of teen 'h' spotting what her special present was.   The extra is her surprise!!!

Because she will be 16 in March, she will be able to drive a car.  As her birthday is still 3 months away, there will be plenty of time to sort out all the rules for young people driving a car in NZ.  She will be able to get herself to and from School, Dancing and her after school job.  No more running around after her for Granny, Mum and Dad.  The next stage in growing up.

Tonight we are going to my sister's place for dinner, so it will be lovely catching up with her.  It is nice and sunny, +20C, but quite windy.
