Hanging around for Xmas

We met C and kids D&A in Boscombe for coffee at the new Italian deli 'Da Nunzio'. Had a lovely catch-up (she's usually busy at work or taxi-ing the kids). Chatted with Maurizio, the owner. He so lovely. Brought us tit-bits to nibble, on the house, including Nocellera olives for me.

Wandered around the Sovereign Centre shops. Then we ended up for refreshments and chips at Deus ex Machina. The regular cool young waiter is an absolute star. Twice seeking out screwdrivers to repair 'A's' pop up toy. Now where would you get service like that.

Waited for the bus home and watched Boscombe's flock hovering above. Plenty of kind souls scatter bread for them. With luck they'll do better on Xmas Day.
