First was our old friend the cock pheasant who had brought his younger mate with his harem in tow. There were about five or six hen pheasants in the garden this morning sheltering from the wind and pecking about . The two cocks had spent time under the bird feeder having found a few seed on the ground. It is not as if they are short of food as there is spilt ground corn in the farmyard and a few grains lying outside the corn barn.
Spent time in the kitchen preparing dishes for tomorrow. I then took a present over to R who is newly widowed and his family and they now have covid ..... It couldn't get much worse for them. We exchanged a few words through the open front door. Hope they get better soon. Finished wrapping up presents.
Spent a relaxing evening with the children at T's neighbours and their granddaughter.
