I am enjoying watching The Sound of Music with Paul. It is continuing the weather pattern of strong wind and rain so it is best to be indoors. I did go out for a Sunday paper and I will enjoy reading You magazine later. I watched Songs of Praise and followed Holy Mass online from Portlaoise near Dublin.
Paul braved the weather to drive to Tesco and complete the Christmas food shopping.
Paul and me played Scrabble.He got a fantastic score of 70 in one go, because he got the word enslaved, and the word score plus the bonus of 50 was amazing , when he put all 7 Scrabble tiles out at once. I am in awe of his skill.
I have messaged Maria, to tell her Paul and me have eaten some of the Nigella chocolate cake she brought us, with some Tesco brandy sauce. They were gorgeous together.
The cats were very playful last evening but after breakfast they found cosy places to sleep all afternoon.
