Nice to see you again!

My Christmas cactus has flowered profusely again, despite being moved around many times during the year because of building work and decorating. At one point a while back, a chunk of it fell off - but the other branches just shuffled across and filled the gap. I do like the pure pink colour. It’s currently shoved behind several odd things in the spare room- but still doing its thing.
In the morning I did the last bit of shopping for food, and got everything I needed except for cream - a problem I shared with blipper Booky Goatherd - though I my case it was because Tesco had sold out by 9am whereas in hers it was due to living in Belize which I gather has few, if any, dairy cows.
My friend arrived from London in the afternoon, fortunately having had a trouble free journey down the M4. We spent the rest of the day eating, playing rummikub and watching The Big Sleep. I still don’t have a clue what’s going on, but I think it’s really good, especially the repartee between Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart.
