Beautiful had made card from my friend E, and a lovely wee reindeer made from a face flannel :-)
Quite a busy day today - started off with slimming class, then coffee with a friend, back home for an hour and out again to meet E at the DCA to see ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ which I enjoyed very much. I can’t remember the last time I saw this film, but it was certainly a very long time ago. E and I went to school together and we were joined by another school friend, G, who I’ve not seen since I left school over 50 years ago. It took us a wee while to work out whether we’d been in the same class and it turns out we were.
I’d gone into town on the bus to meet them but getting a bus home was a bit of a nuisance case it was after 5pm and our bus goes to an hourly service so rather than wait 45 minutes I got a taxi home because I’m looking after my neighbour’s lovely dog, Bear, and knew he’d be waiting to get out.
I went and sat with him for a couple of hours after tea - I just don’t like to think of him in the house on his own.
Mr Tibbs wasn’t too impressed with me when I came back tho - I’ve been out most of the day, then I come in smelling of dog… think I win him round with a generous helping of his favourite Dreamies :-))
