Not parkrun

It was wet this morning and I couldn't be bothered to get up early enough to go to parkrun (and my ankle was a bit stiff). Instead I made a mess in the kitchen making gingerbread (without fruit) and some Middle Eastern biscuits whose name I can't remember. I'll take some of each to daughter's for Christmas and keep some for when son comes just in a few days. There's also enough gingerbread to freeze a bit for us but I won't do so just yet as it improves over a couple of days.
This afternoon I visited a friend who's recovering from pneumonia and had a short walk, the rain had stopped. Also I've finished wrapping the presents.
Evenings here are usually quiet but we've had 2 lots of visitors and a phone call!
