Breaking up for Christmas here in the Adult Education Centre, the people from Ukraine gave me this calendar and a gift. They are all very qualified people and should have no problem finding work once their language skills improve here. Most of all they are anxious to return home. The sooner the conflict ends the better.

With Love to Ukraine stands for the social art project that is set to reveal the magnificent cultural heritage of Ukraine alongside Irish symbols and scenic views of Wicklow
 
In the centre of the project there are Ukrainian women in traditional clothes that symbolise our deep and meaningful roots. Each of them has a different destiny, but all of them found shelter in Wicklow County, trying to rebuild their lives from scratch and to thrive for a safe future. The project represents 12 women of different age, background and place of origin back in Ukraine. Today their paths have crossed in the beautiful county of Wicklow where with the help of the community and its sincere habitants they were able to find their inner peace, self-belief, aspirations for living studying, working.
 
The success of the project would not have been possible without the invaluable contributions of Ukrainian Wicklow hub volunteers and the Association of Ukrainians in Ireland.
