New bauble

Today’s picture is from in the house. My mother has, each year, bought a new decoration for the Christmas tree - many of them have a story from places she and my dad may have visited. It’s a tradition that I keep up and the blue bauble is the new addition for 2023.  There isn’t much story to this one. I saw it in the Christmas shop in Kingston that we visited a few weeks ago and and thought that we didn’t have many blue baubles in the collection. But it’s hanging and, I hope, this entry will - in years to come - remind me why I bought it.
