Swedish elf on a shelf?

I'm not sure if it's an elf, but it did come from Sweden.  An emergency blip as I try to keep up to date with my blips! 

I popped it on the landing window sill with a few other mini figures while I carried the box of baubles downstairs.  A few days on and she ( He?) is still on the window still smiling at me as I pass. Maybe she's happier there than on the tree this year.
