Union Canal from the Leamington Lift Bridge

A quiet day, no work. Got up at the normal time as partner wanted to go to A german supermarket before it got manic. After a leisurely breakfast, I took the opportunity to go down to Morningside for a few sweet treet presents and wrapping paper. After morning coffee, I wrapped a few presents, and helped with the grocery delivery (no substitutions,and no need to go out to the supermarket on the manic Saturday before Christmas)

After lunch, partner and i went down to the Upright Gallery, where she has a book exhibited (and sold) as part of the Making Waves Annual Artist Bookmakers Exhibition. We got the bus to Morningside, then walked in to town t the gallery. The gallery is very small, but packs a lot into that space. After we walk to Tollcross for afternoon coffee. Being the shortest day, the sun has set, but there is still some colour in the sky as we walk along the canal to get my blip photo. Then a walk up Viewforth to get the bus home.
