Our final Foodbank day giving out our Christmas bags of goodies. Another totally mad day - we gave out 111 bags of ordinary food and 39 goodie bags. In the last week alone we have fed 443 people and in the last fortnight given out 282 bags of Christmas goodies. At the end of Foodbank we then had to put everything away and we took the remainder down to our hub to store safely. Also delivered food to a family who are ill. To say we are a tad weary is a bit of an understatement!
Got home and collapsed on the sofa for a while but then had to go to the supermarket to get our own shopping. It was fine actually- not very crowded and they had everything we needed. Also no queue at the checkout!
