A New Day

Most days come and go and often we think more about it. Today the new day was welcomed with this beautiful sunrise as seen from my back door.

Today was a very special day for a dear friend of mine. Today she finished working in a job that has extended over 30 years. Today she took her first steps into a new tomorrow where regulation and restrictions may not be as constraining. Today she started her new tomorrow. My heart and soul goes out to her for although I will miss her professionalism I know that this lady will always be close to my heart, my soul and we will share many more evenings watching the sun set as we sip scotch and water and talk about the next new day.

To you my friend, I raise my glass. You have done a fantastic job and many have grown stronger thanks to your efforts. Cheers!
