Black pond...sans le chien!

I went back to Black Pond today, without the dog! It is a really pretty spot, and the water is surprisingly clean with quite a bit of bird life there.

Another warm but dull day - is it really asking too much to have some sunshine in summer? The meeting of the climatologists earlier this week did not reveal any positive news about the weather improving whilst we are in this 10 year cycle.

I should not complain - we went out for supper with friends at a nearby pub last night and sat outside the entire evening and for once I was not cold.
