Merry Christmas To Me

Today I sold some old camera gear during an event at a local camera shop. I wasn't going to purchase anything else, but Canon was offering $500 off the retail price. Then I found out this particular camera was on the "no tax" list. Then the trade in guys told me I got an extra 10% if I "reinvested" the proceeds in something new. How could I not buy something new? I thought I would put my new Canon R6 Mark II under the tree for a brief moment before I start using it full-time.
