A White Christmas Eve, Eve, Eve

A fair bit of snow overnight, and more throughout the morning, finally easing off. A bitterly cold wind.

Up early, headed out walkies after breakfast.  Nipped into Lerwick to pick up a few more bits for the car, then down to work.  Last late shift of the week, and chaos in the airport.  A lot of delays and cancellations due to the weather.  Sadly not everyone has got where they're meant to be, including niece Megan coming home for Christmas.  Christmas pints later tonight. 

I used to love a good snowy day, and still do but what chaos comes with it when working in the aviation industry.  It can snow as much as it likes over the weekend, and let's hope for a white Christmas.  Has this snow peaked too soon?
