Family shopping trip

Our son called yesterday to ask if we were planning a trip to Costco and as he was off this week, we arranged to see him today. He arrived mid morning and we took Phin to Newbattle for a walk before we headed to Costco. Michael collected his sister as she finished for the festive break at 12.30 and we headed to Costco.

It wasn’t as busy as I had expected and we were in and out in just over an hour. Lots of yummy free samples to keep us going on the way round too. Michael headed back to Dundee and we 3 came gave to the house. Phin was excited to see Katy as he was to see Michael in the morning.

Mr PHL took Phin out for another walk and Katy and I chilled watching the Grinch. I’d taken out what I thought was chicken curry but it turned out to be chicken and chorizo bake, still tasty!

Katy stayed the night and she watched tv when Mr PHL headed to his art class and I had a lovely warm bath. Quite tired today so the bath helped.
