Chicken Man

Early afternoon I went out to do some shopping, with the first stop being in the next village of Pencraig, Nr Ross on Wye (Herefordshire, UK) to collect a dozen eggs from friend Paul who sells them from home, with an honesty box (6 for £1.25). He was just getting in his van to go out but stopped to have a chat and after a few minutes the chicken escaped from the rear garden and he picked it up. He was more than happy to have his photo' taken.  He's now gone from 40 chickens to 200 in his garden, and amazingly doesn't eat eggs himself! Another interesting thing is we share the same birthday (different year, though!).

Christmas festivities begin today. We're off out shortly for a pint in the local pub followed by a party at neighbours house. At least we can lay in tomorrow.
