A very wet and windy day.

The Feast Day of Jutta of Diessenberg. 1136.
A day to keep indoors as much as possible and count the blessings.
I walked to the Best One shop to buy the Daily Mail and Accrington Observer. It was very windy indeed.
Meanwhile Paul drove to Great Harwood to Tescos to top up our food. He said it was very difficult to find somewhere to park the car and the supermarket was crowded with shoppers and their children. Schools are on holiday already in most cases.
We cleared the fridge and rearranged the shelves with the Christmas food. We are having salmon not turkey, but my daughter is visiting us on Saturday, from Leeds. She has made and is bringing a Nigella chocolate cake. Praying she and Ben have a safe journey.
