Cheese Straws

It's been a very mixed day, a funeral this morning at All Saints' Castle Camps, a medical appointment at midday for Margaret and this afternoon I baked up a batch of cheese straws.

These used to be a great tradition in our family, our Grandmother had a recipe long since lost but this one from Aunty Beeb produces very moreish straws almost as good as Gran's.
