Great Time Had By All

Spent the day enjoying what London had to offer. Started the day in our usual spot in Leicester Square enjoying a tasty brunch.

Then followed a visit to Fortnum & Mason’s where we were charmed by the Christmas Pudding Display. The lights of Regent Street followed and then a visit to Liberty’s. Have to say we were very underwhelmed by this year’s window. Given the high standards of previous years, it appeared that no effort had been made.

Final key stop was Trafalgar Square & I would say not the greatest tree I’ve seen in the square. That said it was still a lot of fun sampling the atmosphere.

At one point we weren’t sure we would be returning home tonight given the news that Euston had suspended all trains out. Fortunately by the time we rocked up only a slight delay was encountered.
