Festive loft club

It’s been a few months, last one was in August when it was boiling hot. The break has meant we can reflect a little (as much as anyone would want to reflect on the status of a loft!). It still looks full but it really isn’t, a lot is waiting in prep for a car boot sale. The tightly packed end to end boxes from the last century are mainly gone. Daisy came to inspect the jigsaw area and my mum came up for the first time since the beginning of this excellent project. Time to get back into the groove in prep for the car boot sale and actually clear out the plenty of rubbish that still remains.

As standard, a little bit of loft work (mainly technical drawings from the 1980s, polestryrene and my lovely Charlie dog’s basket) a trip to the dump then an afternoon of fish and chips, wine and laughing. Mainly in despair at a couple of electrical situations which weren’t actually situations.

And happy solstice day! No swimming- the sea is too big wavey.
