Lush day

Woke up excitedly, knowing there was a little pup downstairs waiting for me. After her breakfast I got back into bed to read but wanted some company. Needless to say, Maddie didn’t need a lot of coaxing before she was on the bed with me. I’ve gone from ‘no dogs on beds’ to happily sharing mine in the space of meeting Maddio.

I had a nice extended lunch break with the parents at a local pub. I think it was to say thank you for dog-sitting and if so, entirely unnecessary.

This evening, Ali and I went for a festive treat to the light trail at Love2Stay. It was brilliant and mostly aimed at children. We did our part by being amazed at the lights, getting ourselves covered in melted marshmallows whilst making s’mores and then assembling some packets of reindeer food.
